Being pregnant at 17 is kinda lonely :/

Being pregnant at 17 kinda sucks.. I've lost all my friends but one.. Who I only see once in a blue moon. All I really have it my boyfriend and his family and my family.. & to top it all off I hate going to school.. I get staired at like I'm a freak.. Ugh.

Did you expect it to be any different?

Sometimes pregnancy sucks no matter what age.

Not exactly, But I didn't expect to loose my friends.

Well at least you have your family and BD's family. I only have one friend from high school that I still talk to a few times a week. I was never pregnant in high school but once I did get pregnant at 19 years old, I lost all my friends. Family is more important IMO.

Doesn't get too much better when you get older. I'm engaged, 20 & I've had elderly women in public insult me about being pregnant young & unmarried even though I wear an engagement ring. You don't need friends that are going to bail on you. Keep the good ones close & enjoy being part of your bfs family too. A lot of girls don't get even that support when pregnant & married

Well, that is what happens, unfortunately. Join some mother's groups. You will be one of the younger ones (unless it is a teen mom group), but you will meet new people and not feel so lonely.

Well I was 19 and married when I got pregnant but all you need is your family.. imo they will always be there door you they should be the only people that matter. All my friends are single and have no kids were on a different chapter meet some moms in your area if you need friends. Ik it sucks but since I had Ava I'm not interested in my old friends.

well, now you know who your real friends are-- not those people. i don't have much advice on being a teen mom because i wasn't one. but it seems to me that if people are walking away from you and not wanting to be your friend, then you don't need them anyway. good luck to you!

Isn't there a school for pregnant teens around or near by? But I mean really it was going to happen. You can't do the same things as them anymore. Least now you may know who your true friends are. Speaking from me being a teen mother!

Kind of 3what happens when you get knocked up in high school.

That happens no matter what age you are. I'm not 17 and I don't have time for that crap anymore. All I have time for is my baby, school, and SO. And that's all that matters.
