I'd rather have my rights.

And this medical reform is bull. Children with SN's on disability Medicaid who have not been denied services in the past are now being turned down and denied. The denials are not over turned. That is not cost effective. Having kids meet their potential and get the help they need now will be more cost effective in the long term. Also, others with disabilities.
Although IMO elderly people who have the government paying for inhome care takers rather than going to a group home should not be happening. They should still be able to have help and medical needs met in a more stream lines way. Now, if that person has Medicaid and can afford to spend the money on their own nurse, that's their choice.

And hospitals are wealthy. That is not a reason for private insurance rates to go up. Those people who don't pay are in the minority. And it doesn't matter if it is the medical bill that gets paid or not. I'm sure other bills of theirs are not being paid either. Doesn't mean my money can be withheld for their bad financial choices.

I'm in Nursing School ans work at a hospital. I face so many bills from previous hospitalizations. This is a big factor in why I'm supporting Obama. His race means nothing to me.

Because the people that are to sick like she is wont be able have health care due being a risk and insurances having pay out pocket. There are alot other reason she explain to me. I'm not one to work in health care so I dont know in and outs. But she does and its scary know that she would be denied health care and wo it she cant go doctors and etc. If it wasnt for my father in law being in navy and them having health insurance for as long as they did , they would be drowning in medical bills right now. I couldn't vote the last election so I didn't follow politics at all so I did think it was awesome that he was black   but now that I follow politics more and am more effected by things his race means absolutely nothing to me.

Under the Obamacare, she would be covered. The premise of the Obamacare is that EVERYONE gets coverage and cannot be denied any d/t a pre-existing condition.

As for social security, expect that to be gone by the time we are adults.

I disagree. I think the elderly should be able to live how they want. Just because theyre old and need help, doesnt mean we should shove them all into a building with more elderly people. And IMO it doesnt cost more. In a home, the gov has to pay for electricity, food, beds sheets everything. In their own home, the elderly use their small checks to pay for their own bills, their own food, or have family that helps them out.

But see, it is SO expensive to pay out of pocket for home health care that very few Americans would be able to get the care they would need at home.

But I disagree that the people who aren't paying are in the minority, especially when you factor in undocumented immigrants.

Personal experience and word of mouth from one mother to another in my local community. I just got done filing a formal complaint. And upon asking the rehab centers in my area, it has all of a sudden become a major problem with some of the new insurances being implemented.

It's a fact. Obama is setting up a system that is similar to Universal Healthcare in which EVERY citizen has coverage. That is his goal.
