I never meant to offend you. We were talking about foreign relations and you insinuated that Obama would be better at it because of his white mother and foreign father (which, I took to mean, that you believed he would be better at foreign relations simply because he was half black).

Obama won the Nobel Peace prize shortly after inauguration, I assume because people thought he would be better at foreign relations. I said I wasn't going to accept that Obama would automatically be better at foreign relations just because he has a foreign father (although I said "half black" instead of "foreign father" - not sure why one is ok and the other isn't).

Anywho, I really am sorry if I offended you. I like talking to intelligent women in D&D, even if they don't share my same beliefs.

Honestly, I think your dad is doing a smart thing, but I prep like there is no tomorrow. Whether it be economic collapse, tornado, or heck, Zombie Apocalypse, I'm covered and I will be laughing at the people who didn't prep (though, I have enough supplies for the neighbors and I WILL help them before we bug out).

A years worth of canned goods and wheat/rice/barley for 3 people
20 packs of heritage seeds
3 months worth of freeze dried food from Food Insurance
3 months worth of bottled water
About 300 iodine tablets for purifying water
Land in the country (140 acres that belongs to my family and has been in the family since the land rush)
20 cartons of cigarettes (I smoke and can be used for bartering)
And, about 10,000 rounds of ammo for a few different weapons
Also, we have a small stockpile of non projectile weapons

We started prepping about 5 years ago.
