sometimes while im feeling/rubbing my belly i find where he is at and kinda slightly poke him to see him move. And i dont do it to often and i defiantly dont poke very hard its kinda more of me just slightly tapping him and he'll move. but i dont want to hurt him so i was just curious if it is hurting him or dangerous.

Nah, they're pretty comfy in their womb-bubbles. They're very well protected.

Absolutely not hurting him at all ~ he is very well protected & insulated in there ~ poke & goggle away to your hearts content! He knows just how much you already love him with each little prod you give him!!

Not from what I've been told! But instead if you feel bad for poking LO I read that you can drink something sugary and sweet and lay down and that'll usually wake them up! They're protected by the amniotic sac so it's not like you're directly poking the baby in the head or back or anything like that.

My kid would have come out with shaken baby syndrome if it wasn't nice and protected. I'd shake him like crazy just to get him to move.

Very cool trick you should try, lay back on your back slightly (where you are comfy, not flat) and tap both sides of your belly until you get LO going. See if you can get him to follow your hand. I'll tap until she kicks my fingers then I'll tap a little lower and we'll play chase. I'm just encouraging coordination is all. :p
