im almost 28 weeks and lately my back has been killing me but its only my lower back, and nothing helps, ive been working out sense before i was pregnant and just changed my routine around my little man, and when i stretch my back feels so much better but as soon as i stop it goes right back to a ache; and ive been sleeping with a hot pad on my back and when im just sitting around but i was wondering if anyone else has this pain and or has had this pain and what helps/ helped you?
good luck! i have had back pain threw both pregnancy! I found hot baths with epson salts worked wonders to have my muscles relax enough to go to sleep. dont have the hot water pad on your back for more than 10 minutes! its close to the baby and you can over heat the baby. you can also take tylenol if it gets to bad, i found sometimes i couldnt bend at all so it was necessary. hopefully it eases up.
Yep ~ just part of having a little human being growing really big & really fast in your belly! But you can safely use a heating pad or a warm bath but NEVER EVER TOGETHER ...lol.
Sounds silly but since most of my babies were over 9 lbs & I am a very short-waisted lady, I would waddle over to the closest playground, find the monkey bars & grab the bars closest above my head without jumping. I would then slowly bend my knees & lift my heels to my butt to let gravity do its job. This helped "pop" my back & realign my spine ~ I did this till the pain eased, waddled bk home & took a warm bath, popped a couple of tylenol & slept soundly!! Good luck!!
