Quoting PokkaDotts:" Haha my son LOVES hotwheels also. Would taking him to the hotwheels plant be an option??"

I took him to the aiport museum and he layed on the ground and played with a pylon.....thats kind of how he is....very inward.

but if hes still loven hot wheels when hes older Ill tell him about it.

I think thats what I need, options of fun boy like things, show him pictures talk to him about it and see what one he clings on to for the next few years.

I can relate so well to the trust issues. When my little girl was getting tested for her disability she would have to be left alone with the psychologist and we couldn't communicate with her on what was really going on. She is now starting Pre-K, but we are still dealing with the issue of trust when it comes to doctors, therapists, and adults. She is a very introvert person and likes doing solitary things more than anything. The idea one mom presented might help like going to a hot wheels plant or getting to try out the new hot wheels before they hit the shelves. Maybe even waiting till he is 8 will give a better idea. I hope he stays healthy as can be. Your a very strong momma for going through this and so is the rest of your family.

No...inward Im telling ya. Very very alone. He would be happy if it was just him papa and mama everyday all day.

he switches shows....one week its franklin, then tangled, then bubble guppies, then winnie the pooh....but he doesnt stick to one.

Its like he had no world for so long, that now the world is so overwhelming to him, so he sticks to his cars cause they are similar and goes quickly through other things.
I swear my son has the cleanest playroom ever, and the coolest lol. If my camera was working Id so take a picture.

Hes got some catching up to do big time. Hes not like most kids his age.

i understood fully what was wrong with me by the age of 6,at 7 my leg was amputated.(my choice)
i think if you want him to understand then wait a few more years, but he will enjoy it regardless

Does he like the beach, pools, waterparks? What about Atlantis resort in Bahamas. My cousin went there for his Make A Wish and had a blast. But only if he enjoys water would that make sense.

Yeah and no. He loves to swim, but does not like crowds.

When we were in Florida the other week he loved the ocean one day, and wanted nothing to do with it the next.

I think we just got to wait till he gets older and developes more as a little person ;)
