re: Pressure in your butt

posted 29th Oct
Yes, which I will admit I almost gave in on my first because I was on PIT. I wanted to die. But I will never do pit again, so after that I was great. But yeah natural isn't that bad. Because generally it will go faster, unless your body works against your contractions. Mine worked with mine. So I had very fast deliveries and when I hit a certain point of pain I used everything to push through it and delivered every time in 1-2 pushes. What most don't understand is that you give it your all when the pain is bad, don't just push a little to cover the pain. It is a waste of energy.

Yeah I have heard you recover faster going natural so that would be great. It's just hard to say if I can do it or not because I don't truly know how painful it will be. But like you said if you give it your all which I plan on doing. In the last few weeks I have changed my mind so much. At first I was totally not breastfeeding and I already was like oh yeah I am getting a epidural. Now I plan to breastfeed if she cooperates and I plan to go natural unless I feel like I am about to die haha.

LOL, I am in the same boat. Mine is home birth though. We are doing home birth and at times I start questioning myself on where (as in bath or bed), and if I can handle this again. LOL I mean I have done it three times but my youngest is 5.

Oh wow a home birth I give you props. I would be to scared, I am sort of a chicken smurf. I have seen videos though and that looks awesome to be at home rather then a stinking hospital.

Yeah I hate hospitals, I had way to much anxiety from them constantly taking the baby away and doing "procedures". Which is nuts because when I worked in the hospital we ALWAYS had to inform the parents and get permission. But when I was the patient it was opposite. I hated it with a passion.

When I told my OB I was having tons of pressure in my butt, like I had to go to the bathroom but nothing happens, she checked my cervix. She felt babys head and said the pressure was from him being in position ready to go!

That's what google said, that the doctor will feel ur cervix and the baby's head will be right there. That's fine by me

I know it is your first, but are you having regular contractions?! I was up the last three nights contracting. Which yes it goes all day and it is so uncomfortable. I am ready for this boy to vacate.

Um I don't know honestly. A few days ago I woke up with bad back pain that was at 7:30 am it stopped at few hours later. Then at 12 started until 6 pm. but it seemed like it lasted for like 2 hours straight then stopped for like 30 minutes and would come back. It went on for 8 hours that day. My mom was telling me to time it but I don't know if I was stupid or what but I couldn't tell when it stopped to time it I don't think it did stop to be able to time it I think it was just consistent.

For some reason I am NEVER able to time mine. With contractions I only feel the pressure and the muscles straining. Just wondering if you had that too.
