Do you....? Opinions please!

Do you let your LO stay in PJs all day if your not going anywhere? Also do you take your LO out in PJs?

My Husband gets up with my DS once a week, and lets me sleep in for a few hours. If he goes anywhere before I wake up, he takes DS out in his PJs. He has taken him to Walmart, to the bank, gas stations, ect. I always dress DS before we go anywhere. The only exception is if we all go and DH is just running in, and DS and I stay in the car, which is rare. Also my DH would let DS run around in PJs all day, and doesnt see why he should get dressed if we are staying home. I was just wondering what your opinions are on the subject.

If they're clean I do. But for going out in public not unless they're a tiny baby in a sleeper.

Yes, I let her stay in her PJ's all day if we're just staying home. I'll take her to check the mail with me or maybe run to the store really quick but not out to dinner in her PJ's or anything lol.

I stay in my pjs if I am not going out anywhere

DD spends her time at home in her pjs too.. Usually if we are going out we will get dressed unless it is a quick trip to get something and go back home that we may stay in our pjs but that rarely happens..

How old is your son? I take DD out in her pjs if it's late and she's already had a bath, like if we're just running to get milk or something. Sometimes if we go somewhere very early in the morning or visiting family after she's had a bath. She's 16 months old.

I do if we're planning to have an indoor day and I'm joining them in the P.J. wearing (hardly ever happens   ) I don't bring them out in public in P.J's unless their sick and I HAVE to go out (which again, rarely happens).

I'm not opposed to either though.

if were mot going any where no need to waste an outfit. I let my son stay in his pjs all day today. I didn't see any need to get dressed. he does get washed and change pjs though. I am the only one who does laundry in here so why create more for me to do???

I let mine stay in pjs all day of we go no where no point in dirtying even more clothes but I think taking out in pjs past like a month old is tacky unless sick going to doc or something

I will let LO stay in PJs all day if we are not going anywhere, but I will not let them go out in PJs. I don't go out in PJs myself, so they won't either. I just think it looks lazy especially for an adult and lazy on parents part if they don't change their kids. I saw a parent yesterday with her kids and her daughter was in mismatched PJs that were too small for her.

For me after I had more than one child it was different. With my first I would always get him dressed for the day. Now if we aren't doing anything or going anywhere I will let them stay in pjs, I personally don't see it as a big deal. I will occassionally take them out in their pjs if it's a quick errand early in the morning too.

I take my 9 month old out in his PJs because I carry him in a moby wrap so nobody sees him anyway and it keeps him warm.

My DD is 8 months old. I purposely dress her in warm footie PJ's if it's chilly outside and we need to run to the store or something.
