agonising pain 12 days post c section

I was in very little pain from the day I had my c section till two days ago, I didn't take any pain meds from two days post partum and felt fine. Now its another story, I've never felt such pain in my life. I can't walk or turn around in bed, I can barely get up. I got prescribed pain meds when they discharged me and I've already taken the maximum dosage. Anyone else experienced this? Any advice on why I'm in pain now and what I can do to relieve a bit of it? TIA

I would call your doctor or the hospital and explain to them how you are feeling.

I had that. Uterine infection... Call your doc or go to er. Worse than the birthing process, or c section itself... Right?

how long ago did you take the pain medication?

and i wasn't in any pain in the hospital (but was taking meds regularly)...and when i got out i left my prescription in the pharmacy overnight and was going to pick them up the next day. when all the medication left my system i was in soo much pain i was SO mad i hadn't taken them to a 24 hr pharmacy.

call the dr.! You are supposed to be feeling better by now, not worse!!

Sounds about right. I had labour for 14 hours without any pain meds and then an emergency c section and nothing compares to what I'm feeling now.

I took them the day of his birth and the next day, and then for 8 days nothing and since yesterday I've been taking them every 8 hours
