We used the boppy all the time with DS, but he cried everytime we put him in the bouncer. But my first on the other hand loved the bouncer.

It's so tough to say, my son use the bouncer seat SO much lol. He was in it until his butt was hitting the floor in it. I loved it for the bathroom and he could sit in it while I was in the shower and its nice and lightweight I carry up and down the stairs to use wherever you need it.

The bouncer will be of much more use than the boppy.

I'd go with the bouncy seat. You can use normal pillows to adjust the baby if you BF but I'm telling you that bouncy seat will turn into your best and most dearest friend. Only place DS would sit so I could go pee on my own....

Are you going to breastfeed, because a boppy would be the better choice, you dont wanna over kill it with items you put your baby in, you have a swing and a boppy will make nursing alot easier.
Also you can look can craigslist maybe you can get both for cheaper!?

I love our boppy! Honestly if I would have had it from the start I think BFing would have gone better for us. We don't have a bouncer but I do want one. My son is 5 months and now I think he could enjoy a bouncer so we plan on getting one soon. For a newborn I think you will get more use out of the boppy. I would just get the bouncer later.

Ive been checking out craigslist for both items. I am going to check out some more consignment stores try to find a somewhat decent clean looking boppy pillow as well as a bouncer. I am also going to try to babysitt another week to make another $60 but I don't quite know if they want me to I will be 38 weeks then
