I always post about my DB BD (dead beat babby daddy).. But he really has out done himself.
He orginially took me to court because I wouldnt "allow him to see her".. more like, his partying wouldnt allow him. haha.
Anyway, i agreed to a set amount of time, to which he was allowed 250 hours and only ever completely 15 of them.. Shows how much he cared. haha.
His smurfing lawyer ALWAYS defended him, i mean, i know he pays the dude to do that, but there's a point in which, there's no winning argument for his side..
Anyway, he had some bull smurf excuse about how he was SOO injured and 1. Couldn't drive. 2. wasnt able to take care of my daughter.
well, hes been driving pretty damn well on his own since myself, my family and our mutual friends have seen him ALL around town driving his girlfriends car by himself.. and we agreed that his girlfriend(i think he volunteered her) would help out since he was 'incapable due to his "injury"'. HIS lawyer also said he wouldnt be 'canceling' because he had support so days he felt 'horrible' (which always landed on days he had her).
To which he broke numerous court orders and NOW he just canceled this week.. I have a smurfing JOB unlike him.. that ive made a schedule around when he would have her. AND hes not going to do halloween with her.
This is soo smurfing pathetic.
your gonna miss a holiday with your daughter, why? so YOU can go party it up with your friends.

If you're not already, you need to start documenting all this stuff he's pulling, if you can get pictures of him driving, get a notebook and mark down the days he is supposed to get her, and update if he did or did not....take all that info with you to court next time you guys go!

I'll probably get crap for this again, but it's just Hallowe'en. It's not as though he missed her birthday or Christmas.

The way it sounds, he'll most likely be missing those too.

Even yes it's "just Halloween", it's typically a big deal to children. They get dressed up and go out and they want everyone who cares about them to see them.

Plus, yeah it's just Halloween, but he's been missing all the other days too...

When we were in mediation when holiday topic came up, he said he'd leave it up to me because I always include him BUT said the 2 most important holidays to him were Fourth of July and Halloween. thats ALL he cared about.

I think that because he has a history of doing this that anytime he misses out on time with his child, it's frustrating?! After a while, it doesn't matter if it's a non holiday, it starts to get redundant and pisses you off! Well, that's how i feel any way, with my oldest and his father. :/
My son played football for the first time this year (7th grade) and his father didn't come to a SINGLE game   But his step-father was at every single one!

OH, i have been, since our first court date and he made me out to be some ass hole who refused to let him see her. when really i went out of my way to set dates and times that he cancelled.
I have it all documented and save.. To the point of what time he texted.

Its SO mean to HER. I could care less either way, but its sad when shes afraid of him because there's so many big gaps between them.

I tried doing the same thing with my ex, and when he wouldn't show up, my daughter would get angry at me because I was the one who was there.

I stopped trying. My daughter hasn't seen my ex for a regular visit in almost 3 years and the only time he has seen her is when he is picking up cigarettes and she just happens to be at his mom's house.

It just happened that he was gonna get some time on Halloween with her for her normal visits.
