Hypothetical Situation Anyone?

Say you shared custody of your LO (let's say they are under 3) with your BD. And say your BD rented a room from someone.
Would you be comfortable with your LO going over there? Spending the night?

IMO it doesn't sound realistic. I don't think many people who rent out rooms are going to want to child proof their entire house for one renter. And who knows what kind of other people are living in the house?

Depends on the BD. If I trusted BD, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Because, if I trusted him, he'd be smart enough not to live with idiots, and also know how to watch our child.

my son went to his dads because he got joint custody, and his dad and 3 brothers were on parole at the time... lol they never had to baby proof the house. my sons 6 now his dads off parole but we had no choice the judge felt fathers rights was more important than the fathers record...

There are way too many factors there for me to be comfortable in that situation. If I knew the person he was renting from, maybe. I would definitely get in touch with the guy he's getting the room from and see how he feels about the situation.

That's how I feel as well. Too many things that would make me skeptical about the whole thing.

toally agree w/this ! and if bd had no choice but to rent a room from idiots then i would hope he would keep the child in his part of the house or on an outing and only in the room tp sleep.
