Venting

posted 29th Oct
My son couldn't go to daycare today because he was sick and I was supposed to work today but instead I had to stay home. I'm mad because I made plans on Saturday for his dad to keep him and of course on Monday morning he has better things to do. It sucks since he hasn't seen his son but a few times and all he does is blame it on me.His excuse today was he went to bed late and he's too tired to watch him. Only reason I asked him was because he was my last option. It's crazy to see somebody who doesn't want to do anything for their child. It seems like he can't make up his mind one second he wants nothing to do with me and my son and the next he wants to be a family but then he does smurf like this. I just need to vent about him because he is just driving me crazy. I think I just need to do visitation and stuff through the courts instead of directly dealing with him.

my sis is going thru the same thing... with her HUSAND. they've been seperated a couple weeks. he works temp... when he feels like it. for him to watch the baby he makes her pay him.

he told her over the weekend he's only going t watch her 2 weeks out of the month... which is smurfing stupid. when he does watch the baby it's only a couple hours on tuesdays and wednesdays. he's a bitch.

I agree, if he really wants to be a part of his child's life then he will be but he cant keep skipping out when every he feels like it, make his visits mandatory, and if he still doesn't come see him then he misses out, that way he cant just drop by when ever he feels like it, I have my 7 yr old and 5 yr olds father on an every two week visitation schedule, if on 'his week end' he doesn't come get them he doesn't get them again until the next two week visit, and he also pays child support, if I don't receive a payment he doesn't get visits...this was just something I have done on my own, the courts have only ordered him to pay support, if he doesnt pay he goes to jail
