Thats ok I disagree with your chart. The one I have says its 4'7 lol who new alberta and here where so different, lol My dd was 85lbs at 7ish and about 4'8-4'9 at 7. Now 10 and 110lbs and 5'3 taller then me. lol

Good for her! I say why not keep them as safe as possible for as long as possible? They make the seats for us to use, so use them! My boys have no problem jumping into their carseats and buckling up, and I don't give a crap what their friends will think if they ever notice... that's just an opportunity to teach a good lesson about safety vs peer pressure. I'm one of those "paranoid" moms because I was in a rollover with my babies when they were not quite 2 and 3 weeks old, so I will always do everything I can to keep them the absolute safest in the vehicle.

I wouldnt lol.

My 10 yr old wouldnt get her ass in a car seat or a booster seat. lol plus the seat cant go in the front and she loves to sit in the front. lol

here they dont recommend kids in the front till they are 12.
I fight with my hubby about it all the time. He disagrees with everything when it comes to carseat rules hah

I wouldn't do it. At 5, DD is one of the only kids in her class in a booster (not 5 point) and by 8, she definately will not be in a booster. She already gets made fun of now, so we will probably lose the booster soon. She's already above the age limit for the state.

If your children are under 100lbs and 5'0" tall at 16 years old, will you make them use a booster to drive?

Yeah its 12 here too or 4'9 tall and 100lbs, she is all of them but the age of 12, we do it for short trips to the mall or the mailbox.

Its maybe like once a week since I dont drive and its my parents van, someone is usally in the front anyways. lol
I have never met anyone who waited till the age of 12 to sit in the front. lol

My son doesnt complain about his booster seat...yet. He is over 4 feet tall and weighs 70 lbs. I dont think he notices other kids not using them. I havent mentioned it either.

They dont recommend it here either, but at least one of mine do sit in the front. The only exception is when we are on the interstate or going a long distance. Then in that case they all have to sit in the back.

Yeah i guess ill see how big my kid is at that age. The safest place is the back so thats just where she goes haha. and she doesnt complain, im curious to see what she will be like when she is 10
