No School

They closed the schools today and tomorrow because of this stupid hurricane Sandy...and, it's barely even windy here.
Better charge up the kids DS, MobiGo, tablet, etc.... in case the power goes out for days. Go away Sandy! ;)

Yeah same here. At first I thought it was stupid that they closed down school but now I saw the pattern that it is going and yeah. lol. Both DSs are charged, laptops charged. lol.

If there going to open shelters latter thats why school is cancelled because they need the schools for shelter.

I was pretty pissed that DS's school and one other school district were the only ones to NOT close...  

Now they are getting out at 11, so at least it's counted as a day seeing as how they are saying there might not be school for a week.

My SO is out getting flashlights, candles and blankets. I am trying to figure out some meals that I can make that can be eaten cold. Not going so well. They are saying we are going to get snow and heavy winds tomorrow and power may go out. Messed up trick or treat too
