it's going to be okay...did a 24 hr urine my protein doubled in a week their sending me to a hospital and hr away and said they wouldn't be surprised if she's delivered this weekend...at 34 weeks..it's too soon..please tell me you've had a little one this early and they were fine..im so panicked

If they want to take her this early, it's because leaving her in there any longer is more of a risk. Have you researched Pre-eclampsia? If you haven't or don't know much about it, I think you should. It might help you understand the Doctors decisions and help you make a more informed one. Best of luck!

. Just take it easy and try not to stress. I know that is easier said than done, but it is what is needed.

Not to sound horrible mama, but she is better out then in at this point.
Things can get very dangerous, very quickly with pre-e.
I had it with my 1st but had him at 37 weeks, your bub has a great chance at this point.
The DR's will do all they can to make sure you are both ok.

i would say at 34 weeks, she has an excellent chance at being ok. she may need to stay in the nicu for a bit, but with all of the technology and knowledge that is out now, she is going to be just fine mama!

Thanks ladies i'm so overwhelmed and scared right now, my husband is on his way home..their sending me to Lehigh hospital because their NICU is the best, and i'm hoping it's not as bad as their thinking and I can keep her in a little longer. My pressure is still fine just the protein doubled in a week. I'm so panicked but trying to stay positive..this storm has me freaked too, not to mention the fact i'll be an hr and a half away from my husband and if she comes early and sandy is bad he may not be there for it

I had my last DD at 29 weeks due to pre-e. She was in the nicu for a while but did suprisingly well. You and her are better off with delivering at this point. When pre-e gets bad, it gets bad extremely fast. That is the last thing you want. Hang in there. Expect her to go to the nicu at least for a couple days and dont be afraid to ask alot of questions.

I had my daughter at 34 weeks and a few days. She was 5lbs 3oz. No NICU stay. Pray everything goes well for you.

With my first I started bleeding very heavily at 26 weeks and the drs told me that I would be very lucky to keep him in me for a few more days....I was put on strict bed rest in the hospital and he was born at 30 weeks. My second boy was born at 31 weeks and they both are completely healthy
Im sending tons of positive energies your way!

Thanks ladies heading to the hospital now, I called the fetal specialist because I was concerned and they told me not to panic, they said not to panic that they won't deliver her unless its absolutely necessary and they will be monitoring us very closely. I'm not as panicked now, just trying to take breaths and relax I'm near scranton/wilkes barre pa and the hospital is in Allentown so I will update once my husband and I get there and we're settled in ... hopefully with good news.

**Update**
We got here at about 1 but waited until 4 or 5 to see the dr as they are busy with the storm. My protein was 312 last week and jumped to 621 but my blood pressure remains good. They hooked me up to the monitor and she is doing really well very active, I had some contractions but they put an IV in and hydrated me and they slowly subsided. I also got blood work, and my first of two steroid shots to help develop her lungs. Right now we're playing the waiting game, their redoing the 24 hr urine tonight and depending on those results and the blood work tomorrow we will know if i'll be discharged or remaining here until they deliver her. They said basically depending on how my body acts I could have her any time from this weekend to a few weeks from now. It's not really a matter of her at this point but me as they don't like the rate in which my urine increased. BTW didn't know the steroid shot would be in my Butt OUCH! So i'm trying to remain positive and hopefully Natalie bakes a little longer.
