Terrified of bedroom

The last few weeks DD has been terrified of her bedroom. The only time she goes in there is to grab something then runs out. she also refuses to sleep in there. She has been sleeping in the hall. If I try to make her sleep in her bed, she freaks. She starts screaming, crying and shaking horribly. She just repeats herself saying, mommy help me. Mommy I'm scared. She has a night light and I turned on the bathroom light but it doesn't make a difference. She won't tell me what she is scared of. We got her a spray bottle and told her it would make any monster go away. She sprayed it and ran. She is now sound asleep in the hall. She was out in like 2 seconds.

I wonder if she saw something up there and freaked out. My mom refuses to sleep up there because every time she does she hears people screaming at like 2 am. She says it is the same thing each time. Kids laughing, mom saying go to bed then a man's voice and once the man's voice has spoken there is stomping and terrified screaming. I have never heard it and neither has DH but my mom has every time she has come here. She first complained thinking it was the neighbors but it happened when we didn't have any also.

Should I keep trying to make her sleep in there or just give up and try again whenever we move into a new house in 5 weeks. I don't want to traumatize the kid but I also don't want to seem like a pushover.

I would let her wait until you moved...something is not right in that room and she knows it. Is she saying what she is seeing? I do not think you are a push over on this if she is that scared that is not good.

my ds does the same thing everytime i put him in his room, he'll be asleep ill put him in his bed and and hr later he'll wake up screaming and shaking like something scared him. I keep telling my SO and he says well he just hates sleeping alone which is bull cuz he did it all his life until recently so i put his bed in our room and he sleeps in it just refuses to be in his room

I wouldnt make her sleep in there anymore. My son used to act the same way at our old house. One night I put him back 8n his bed and turned on the baby monitor, and a couple minutes later I heard a woman singing and he screamed to the top of his lungs. He ended up sleeping with me until we moved out a few months later.

She doesn't say anything besides she is scared. She won't usually go past the doorway to her room 90% of the time. If there is something in there then she usually asks me to get it. 2 months ago she loved being in there.

DD was an amazing sleeper until the last month. I thought it was because DH is gone but now I don't know. Doesn't help I googled Cherry Point ghosts and freaked myself out. Apparently, Binder has 2 resident ghosts who love children in a friendly way.

That is freaking creepy. I don't think I could have slept there after that. I have personally never seen or heard anything besides someone running up and down the stairs but that could have easily been my neighbor or his dog.

i think i would've smurf....

i wont use baby moniters my bed and my lo crib was always in the same room, my grandma bought one for him and i only used it once during the day because my aunt had one and she constantly heard a baby crying on hers that wasnt her baby

I ran as fast as I could and picked him up and ran back to my bedroom and slammed my door closed. That house was horrifying. Very unfriendly spirits in that house, but it was all I could afford as a single mom. My friends stopped coming over because it got so bad, and finally I left

Lovely I can't wait to get out of this place. 5 more weeks. I swear this whole area is haunted. I guess that's what you get for living on the east coast.
