Heart Doppler?

I was just curious if anyone bought one of these when they were pregnant and if it worked. And if youdid buy one, how far along were you?? I want to be able to hear my baby whenever I want but I want to make sure the thing will work and I won't waste my $$.

I rented one ($25/mo) from babybeat.com at 9 weeks and was able to hear it right away. Its definitely worth it. ...it takes some searching to find sometimes but I've been able to hear it everyday for the past 2 weeks! Also my friend said she bought one for about $40 at Babies R Us and it worked for her.

I have the $20 one from walmart. I used it from about 18wks & up to around 32 wks or so?! It was really hard to listen to the baby as it got bigger, though you would think it would get easier. I tried forever around 35wks & couldn't find the heartbeat, just the sounds of him moving around.

Well we have one but you have to position it just right and most of the time we can't even find it, so we gave up...I think we heard it once? Yeah I'm pretty sure once. We got it atabout 6 months......and it's important that things are quiet or else it will pick up everything but the heart beat...so honestly...I wouldn't waste my money on it...that's just my opinion....

I bought one 4 my first pregnancy, it was not the best quality one and i thought it was a wast of money!!!

I have this and loved it. We payed 130$ something from Amazon.com. Best investment ever.

I have the same one as the poster above me and I LOVE it. I was able to hear the baby's heartbeat at around 9 weeks (which is when I got it) it is such a relief and helps put your mind at ease.

With the Bebe BT200 you can actually hear the baby's heartbeat from about week 10 onwards, whereas some of the other dopplers don't pick up the heartbeat until around week 18-20 (so I've read anyway).
