So I am tired of being confused correct me if I am wrong!!

So I don't know exactly how many weeks is each new month. The what to expect books say one thing, and then people say another. You carry for 40 weeks or that is considered a full term preganancy anyways, so that would technically be 10 months if you count 4 weeks to a month right?? So would it be this

1-4 weeks equals 1 month
5-8 weeks equals 2 months
9-12 weeks equals 3 months
13-16 weeks equals 4 months
17-20 weeks equals 5 months
21-24 weeks equals 6 months
25-28 weeks equals 7 months
29-32 weeks equals 8 months
33-36 weeks equals 9 months
37-40 weeks equals 10 months

and if so since I am 21 weeks, and will be 22 Friday, I am technically in my 6th month right, I just won't have completed it until I am 24 weeks right? Or am I just wrong? If I am wrong, what is the right way to do the math or rather the calculations?

no honey. A month is not only 4 weeks. look at a calendar, February I think, is the only month with 4 weeks. Most have 4.5 to 5 weeks.

so at 21 weeks, you are finishing your 5th month.

That little chart is great. You should do a sticky with that in it

I count back wards from my edd. I'm due may 7th so on November 7th I will have exactly 6 months left. I will refer to myself as 3 months pregnant (even though I'm actually 12 weeks 1day today) and I will be starting my 4 month. That's how my doctor says it so I do too.

Actually my doctor normally just says how many weeks, but this is how she told me to track my months.

So since I am due on March 8th I could count it as on November 8th I will have 4 months left??

Not true. They have on average 4.3 weeks. There is not one month with 4.5 or 5 weeks. Do you realize five weeks is 35 days?

Tabitha Barbour yes that is how most people I am heard count it. That is also how the Dr's say is the easiest way to count it (well the least confusing) lol....
