VENT!!!!

So last night DH and I went to his best friends Halloween party bash. DH's BFF's girlfriend is also expecting (27 weeks) and is the type of woman who, every cramp and BH would rush to the hospital. They would see her, tell her it was a normal pregnancy thing and send her off (which up until this point, it has been normal). Well the other day she went in for an ultrasound and found out her cervix is shortened or something? The doctor told her she is to be on BED REST for the next two weeks and in two weeks time they were going to check her again. If she's worse, she'll be spending the remainder of her pregnancy in the hospital.
ANYWAYS, last night she's livin it up at the party, drinking wine and dancing around like its no big deal. I couldn't believe it.. She doesn't want to spend the rest of her pregnancy in the hospital and yet she's going on with her daily life like its nothing. She has specific orders to stay in bed and the DAY she found out she came over to our place and told me she wouldn't be following through because "she hates to sit still" blah blah blah. I'm sorry, this is to ensure your baby isn't born premature at 2lbs and doesn't spend the first few months of his life in NICU...Most women wouldn't see this as a punishment am I right? I just can't smurfing believe her... OH her status today: "I'm in SO much pain".   Not getting my sympathy. OH and the day they found out she said "looks like we'll be having our baby before you" like she was smurfing proud of it..  

She's an idiot, but what can ya do? You know?

I'm 26 weeks and there's NO way in hell I'd be excited about having my baby before you had yours.

I know right?! She's pretty nonchalant about the whole thing. Frig I'm 34 weeks and would be upset if I gave birth now!

i guess she'll see where her ignorance brings her soon then. thats ridiculous...she obviously don't seem to give a smurf on whats going to end up happening  

I was just on fb, she "checked in" at the local women/children's hospital and had a photo shoot in the bathroom. Smfh
