sorry my phone is stupid and doesn't let me post titles correctly, this is a rant. my 12 year old step daughter's attitude is really getting on my nerves. let me start off by saying she comes to visit on the weekends and doesn't have to lift a damn finger while she's here. i clean up after her (do the dishes she uses, throw out the trash she leaves laying around, pick up her clothes off the floor and wash them, turn off every light she leaves on). last night she was getting on my nerves rubbing her feet, it was loud and i could hear it in my ear so i asked her to stop, she didn't. so i let it go for about 15 mins and then said louder €€ok seriously stop with the feet. she got all in a huff and went upstairs. obviously her dad talked to her and asked her what was wrong. she had the nerve to say, well becca always gets to sit in the comfy chair, she gets the good blanket, the good pillow blah blah blah. first of all little miss rotten, i get the comfy chair because i am carrying another human inside me, have terrible back aches, have trouble breathing and have hemerroids the size of your head and soon have to push said baby out of my vagina. she just got a new comforter from her grandmom and my blanket is the blanket (mine) that i slept with when i lived at my dad's (i need a separate blanket to sleep with at night cuz i'm a blanket hog). and third we went out 2 months ago and bought her a new pillow! and if she even thinks about complaining cuz she sleeps on the floor in the nursery she can forget it cuz we have a full bed for her (very comfortable) in her bedroom which she refuses to sleep in. and it's only fair that i get nice things sometimes considering i have to wash my hair in a bucket of water i heated up on a hot plate just to get clean cuz we can't afford to turn our gas on when she has the luxery of taking a nice hot shower at her mom's house whenever she wants, so don't talk to me about sacrifices. and yesterday i had to give up my 5 dollar max halloween costume idea (i'll be nothing this year, my fav holiday btw) so she could have a halloween costume (and i also sacrificed getting hemerriod cream so we could afford her costume). so ungrateful. end rant.

her did used to spoil the smurf out of her and spend all his money on her before i came into the picture. now we're moved into a bigger place with one income and more bills and a baby on the way and we're being responsible which means sacrifices and she doesn't like it and it pisses me off. we blew the last of our money on her and she has the nerve to complain. she gets what she needs to survive in this world and more but nothing's ever good enough. i got fed up with her leaving lights on this morning and told her she's gotta start shutting off lights after she leaves a room cuz that's how the electricity bill gets ran up and she just stared at me like i had 3 heads. i dunno what to do anymore. i often daydream about dropping her off (and his son sometimes) at his work and telling him to watch his own smurfing kids from now on cuz i've had it, but i don't and i just continue to take it. (yeah they come on weekends which he works all weekend so i'm babysitter every time they come over)

Yeah, that definitely has to suck. He needs to make arrangements with their mom to get them when he's off from work. It's not your responsibility to keep his kids, they are suppose to be spending time with him.

he can only get them on the weekends cuz they have school during the week. i offer to watch them cuz otherwise he'd never get to see them and i'd feel really bad especially since i don't work

Well you said he works weekends, so he really don't see them much either. Like could he pick them up after he gets off of work during the week and once they are out of school, and same for the weekends?

well with his son he lives an hour away and his mom's a bitch and doesn't even let his dad have him sometimes on the weekends he's scheduled to have him so during the week is def out of the question for him. and his daughter, we get her almost all summer during the weeks and weekends and i need a break from her during the school year, i mean we could get her during the week if we wanted to but i'd rather wait until we get our gas turned on so she can be clean when she goes to school.
