I don't know what to do or think about this please help

Ok so I was talking to my daughter, she hasn't been behaving so I was talking to her. Her father and I are divorced and because she hasn't been behaving my husband and I have been yelling at her as well as her brother because I don't believe in spanking them. Well some how it turned into her telling me how her down there area has been hurting her. Well yesterday while I was helping her change it didn't look normal and I just picked get up from her dads yesterday night. So anyways I asked her if there is someone touching her down there she told me no. I asked if there is would you tell me she said umm no, so I said how come. So after a few more times asking her. She told me there is someone. That he is at her school, she don't know his name, and so I told her she needs to tell me again with my husband there and when I called him for her to tell me and him, she started to change her story. She explained the guy and explained him as her dad, then changed it to a boy, then back to a man, then also said she can see him in her dreams. I don't know what to do right now or what to think I'm scared and worried and everything. So someone please help tell me what I should do, or how I can get her to tell me more.

Sorry to say but everything pointing that she has been sexually abused. How old is she?

Take her out, have a good day with her. Keep her out of school just ONE day, just make her happy, and in calm voice tell her your worried and would like too know what is happening because that person can be punished for touching your nono parts.

Stop interriogating her and call her pediatrican ASAP.

take her to a doctor now. do not ask her anymore questions.

She's going to be 6 next month

Kids don't understand things like that, and interrogating her is going to make her feel like she's in trouble and shut down.

It sounds as if she got threaten for her not to say nothing. Be very careful!

I think you need to take her to a Dr, get a prof opinion on it and ask him where to go from there!

How old is she?

Imo you need to take her to a pedi gyno or the ER and have her checked out to see if she's still intact. You should also look into getting her to see a psychologist that has experience dealing with children who've been abused as they'll have a better chance of getting the truth out of her.

OP I am just going to warn you, your ex could say you are saying this because you are bitter from the divorce.
Once you open a case, your daughter will go through many appointments. I know this isn't easy and I wish you the best.

This!......and if is someone she is very close with she will try to protect him. God forbids it isnt her dad or a relative.
