We Can't Agree

The time hasn't come Yet , but Me and My boyfriend are not in agreement when it comes to naming our future child. He wants the Baby to be a jr (if a boy) but if a girl he wants his name to be apart of it. I dont agree with my child being a jr in any way what so ever and i dont know what to do about the girl name. Any Suggestions.?

I feel the same way & I would never allow it, lol.

My son isn't a Jr but does have his dad's middle name. My youngest daughter's name does start with a J like his though.

Yup. I told SO this when we started getting serious. He was like well that's good because I would never want a junior I want my kid to have his own name, so I was glad about that   I would never ever ever have a jr.

well I am very stubborn & would just flat out disagree lol. It's so egotistical IMO to name children after yourself.

eh, that isn't true. there's billions of names in the world. it's just turning down his name.

When SO mentioned us naming our hypothetical son after him I literally patted him on the shoulder, laughed, and said "No." He hasn't brought it up since.
