Supervised Visitation ?!

Now I don't have to worry about this for awhile but I want to be well prepared. I do not feel like my daughter would be safe with her father. He's currently in prison, he has 3 felony charges = 2 felony 5's which are B&E & 1 felony 3 Burglary, a possession of controlled substance which is a misdemeanor. I just don't trust him. We were together, for a year, I got pregnant June of 2011, he showed me his true colors a week after, and cheated on me with a 15 year old (Mind you he was 20 at the time) He got all those charges in one month, then ended up in prison! Is there anyway I can get supervised visitation?

when he gets out and you co to court (which im assuming your going to do) tell them you point blank are not comfortable with him being alone with your LO and they will do a trial period of visitation

That would be something to go to court for. If he was prosecuted for the sex with the underage girl then no problem....he would not be allowed alone with any minor as a sex offender. The other I don't know about. My uncle has been to jail 4 times for different crimes involving stealing (stealing a car, a tractor, breaking into 2 houses) and gets unsupervised visitation because they were not considered violent crimes by the judge.

Is he taking you to court for visitation? I wouldnt start any sort of visitation on your end. If he wants it he files for it and gets it ordered. Thats when you tell the judge our concerns

Probably; I would get a lawyer. My sons father was the same way couldnt prove he was fit enough so his parents have to be there at all times when he has collin. Luckily I havent had to deal with that because hes in prison as well lol
