DS is talking so much!!

My son is 26 months, and now that I think about it, I did not expect him to be talking this much by now! He still working on pronunciation of some words.. Like banana still comes out 'bah-bon', and yogurt is 'mergurt', lol... But he is talking in sentences, and asks a million questions a day  He's finally gotten down the concept of why, and will ask 'why' sometimes himself. Last night, I told him to eat his food, and he asked me why... Needless to say he got a lecture for that question, lol!! When he's talking though, it just makes me so proud and it's so cute sounding too   Like, I was folding clothes tonight & took out DD's blanket.. Ian says "Mama, is that Delilah's blanket? I love Delilah's blanket!" .. then he lays his head down on it and says "It's so soft, I love it!" LOL.. He also was trying to make up a song the other night about the sun going down at night, so I decided to make up a song for him  

Oh you like talking kids? Please take my 3 yr he NEVER shuts up lmao and he is rude to top it off lol.

Hahaha!!! I do tell him to stop talking sometimes.. Especially if he keeps asking me for something & I keep saying no! I'm just proud of him, though.. and he says the funniest things sometimes   I hate it when kids get to the why stage, though & they never stop asking why!! My nephew used to drive me nuts with that!.. I think that's why I gave DS a lecture when he asked why he needed to eat his food, lol.

DS is also beginning to exercise more of his independence and tell me he doesn't want to do something that I tell him to... So, he's learning that if he wants something, then he needs to do as he's told!!

Yeah you definitely threw him off with the lecture. He was probably staring at you confused lol. My son asks annoying questions and won't stop but my 4 year old daughter actually has conversations with me and it amazes me. I 'm like you are actually a little person with real thoughts. Proud mama moment lol.

Lol, awww!! They're so fun at that age too   DS asks a lot of questions, but he'll have conversations too! It was so funny this morning he was trying to act out a scene from The Incredibles.. He pointed his toy gun at me, told me to freeze.. Then handed me my cup & told me "Take a drink of your water". Then he's yelling at me "I said freeze!" Lmao!!
