Yeah! I think that would be a good plan to pack before you go trick or treating as well! You're are right, all the walking could very well put you in to labor! I will hope the best for you! =) Maybe you can return to my topic and let me know if it worked?! ;) I think that is funny that you said that to your fiancé haha I joked around with my husband and told him that's what he would be doing if he didn't prepare Log with me when I pack my bags tomorrow! Maybe he will listen to me, mate not who knows. He is worse at procrastinating than anyone I know so he will probably be doing that!

Awesome! That sounds so nice, so now that is some stuff I can take off of my list! ;) I will not bring panties or pads then but I will probably bring a couple onsie's, one picture outfit, a going home outfit for LillyAnna and a blanket. That is so helpful for them to provide so much. I don't want to feel like I am moving in and bring SO much stuff but I DO want to be comfortable. It sounds like they are very helpful! Was everyone there nice to you and did they care about what you wanted during your labor and for your baby? I always wonder about what the nurses and staff will be like since I want the most positive experience possible. LoL Oh and I don't remember who it was but someone told me after they went in to labor and had there baby that the nurses or staff wouldn't give her any pain medication. Ouchieee that must have been painful. =/ Did they make sure you were comfortable after giving birth pain wise? With both of my previous kids they gave me Percocet so I couldn't imagine not having anything =(

Yea, they have a Vicodin substitute on hand. I liked everyone there. The only thing I found annoying, was ordering from the grill. It took them FOREVER and we had to order multiple times before it actually came up, and it was always cold by then. They kept telling me if I just ordered from the room, it was free, but they never sent anything up, so it was just quicker and easier for DH to go down and buy me some food. Once I was in my PP room, they kept bringing me trays of crap I didn't order, and never brought me anything to ask what I wanted. And then would argue with me when they came to take the tray and I hadn't touched it. I kept getting told how I needed to eat, and my same response was "I've done nothing but eat for 10 months, I can skip 1 damn meal" Thankfully anyone who came to visit me brought me real food, and DH always brought me stuff.

The nurses were fantastic, the food staff sucked. And I hated getting woken up in the middle of the night because I always forgot to write down on their log what time I fed and changed DS. He always slept really good, so they were trying to get me to wake him to eat...sorry, not happening

Awe that sounds like crappy food service for sure. That is good to know! I will make sure to tell all my friends and family to ask me if I want them to bring me any food before they come visit! Haha I will have to be on top of things while I am there so they can't argue with me ;) I never really had any trouble writing down times for diaper changes or feelings because I didn't want them to bother me lol I always figure if I just do it before I actually tend to the task then they wot bother me for anything. I just hope after I have LA that I will be be able rest! LoL I am a B*otch when I don't sleep LoL I want to have a happy time there not a irritated grumpy tired time! Hahaha I am glad to hear that they have something for pain at least because after just giving a vaginal birth... Umm yah that is gonna be painful =/ I really don't care what it is as long as it helps relieve some of the pain. LoL It is also nice to hear that the nurses were nice =) They are pretty much the ones who can either make your stay or break it, now I can go in with a good outlook on the hospital with more information about what it will be like and what I will need to bring! I hope my labor will go good too but who knows, no one evvvver knows until the time comes right! Ha ;)

Good luck! I was GBS+ so I went in on a thursday, and discharged on saturday. If you aren't, then they will let you go after 24hrs if you want

Oh Cool, that is nice that they let you out after 24 hours when your not GBS+! I tested negative so that is good! Hopefully everything will go well and I can get out of there sooner than later! =) Then again I might just take advantage of being pampered and having everything done for me! Haha Thanks for the luck, I will take all I can get, everyone tells me that the third child comes the easiest and fastest so I am hoping that will be the case ;P

Both my labors were relatively short, and they kept trying to take him to feed him during the night so I could sleep. I kept trying to explain that if they weren't going to come home with me and do this at home, I was fine getting up and feeding him. Couldn't wait to go home! I hate hospitals though, lol

Labor was pretty quick. 6 1/2 hours and 20 minutes of pushing and he was here. I woke up at 8am because I couldn't get comfortable and started doing housework and aroun 11-noon I started getting contractions, nothing I couldn't move through and by 12:30 they would stop me in my tracks and I started having alot of pressure with each one so I decided I better go to the hospital. If it wasn't for the pressure I probably would have stayed home even longer but it was a good thing I didnt. I got checked into triage, the nurse asked me if I noticed if my water broke and I told her no and she told me to sit up to check my blood pressure and as soon as I did it broke. They checked me and I was dilated to 5. A little while later they moved me to my room and I was at 7. Got stuck at 8 for about an hour. The nurse said she couldn't tell if I was stuck at 8 or if she just couldn't feel it all so she went to get the dr to double check. About 10-15 minutes later he came in and said I was at 10 and it was time to push. He was born at 6:48 pm.
