Today i am scheduled for my NT scan and first visit with my perinatologist. Mind you i have yet to see my baby yet or have any visits with the doc for that matter other than going to my old job and having them run my prenatal labs and find the heartbeat for me. Im 12 and 2 and running out of time to get all my testing done. Last night my husband gets all upset and goes on a rant that I'm being pushy and selfish trying to get into the doc now. This is because the doc scheduled me at his other office because he wanted to see me this week, but his other office is 45 mins away. So my husband said i need to stop being ridiculous and just reschedule for when i can be seen locally. I feel like i have been patient all this time and i don't see anything wrong with going in to see the speciality especially because I'm a high risk mommy. But now i feel stupid and pushy. I know that i only have until 13 n 6 to get my NT scan done which will be soon, but i may be able to get them to put me in monday or tuesday. What frustrates me even more is that my husband has made is clear that if i tested positive for downs i would need to terminate because of his feelings on the matter. I don't want to get into a huge battle or discussion about this part, we came to the DIFFICULT agreement together that i respected that. But if he knows that he feels this way why isn't he being supportive in me being seen today. I don't understand. He is working, he isn't coming, driving me, or paying for the visit. So its not affecting him in any way other then him being upset that i am driving 45 mins away just to see a doctor that he doesn't think i need to see. He thinks i am jumping the gun.   Forgive me for wanting to see that my baby is ok and growing well and healthy. Am i so wrong for that? Im like most woman see their baby by now, and i usually get tons of scans because i am high risk and this is the longest i have ever gone without being seen. What if i had twins? What if my cervix was short? What if i had a bleed? WHo knows! I'm just upset and waiting to call the doc when they open and see if they will just get me in locally monday.

Happy Friday everyone! Today I am 11 weeks and also turn 25!  

I'm frustrated... bought a lot of 8 cloth diapers on Ebay. I have no issue buying used as I always see good picture of them and they come to me looking like new. Not this time. These diapers are disgusting.... they have a soap residue on them and they stinky like some soap that... well I doubt its cloth diaper safe. The gussets on the legs are so stretched out I doubt they will even function. I'm thinking about just throwing all of it away. How disappointing. 15 dollars down the drain. People disgust me.

Wooo! Happy birthday and 11 weeks! I turned 11 weeks yesterday!

Well the mail came and so did my doppler!!! I opened it up and the lady told me they don't come with ultrasound gel, well it did at no charge. I pressed it just below my belly button slowly moved over and waaaa laa! A little whooshh whoosh heartbeat <3 i moved all around making sure that was it and it was. Made my Friday great!

I gave her a neutral review which apparently is the same as negative. She did accurately describe the diapers EXCEPT for the soap residue and smell, which is what I said what bad about it. I didn't read her description before I did it so I feel like a jerk but there was a terrible smell and feel to them that could be soap resiude and thats yucky.

Geeze that sucks! I hate when your expecting something and it is nothing like you thought.

Oh no mama yech what a crappy deal   I got scammed outta $70 on an ergo carrier I didn't know there were fakes!

Hmm... I'm not gonna be seen til my 14 wks n I've still not had the nt scan done but I have seen baby since 5 wks n I'm not high risk. Diff drs policies I guess. As to 45 min away... I can't say nothing. I just switched drs for 2 mins down the road to bout an hr each way now. Men don't seem to understand a preggo woman. We have a clock that's counting down the days til we reach a new wk, another month gone, only so many more to go, etc.

Which brings me to my day... Arguing w hubby over the urge to get baby stuff. Ugh he had me so mad telling me this item or that could wait until after baby is born. He's right technically we don't have room to set it up early let alone store it but still lol n we're planning this huge addition to the house before baby comes... He wanted to start it in April!!!! It's like 60' x 18' two rooms. I wanted to kick him. After we settled down I found a 3d/4d u/s place near new dr so that cheered me up. I'm looking into a doula now. I want prenatal exercise n childbirth class w actual techniques... I'm counting on not being so lucky this time round w contractions n stuff as I was w my 1st.
