I haven't looked at pictures, but I had 2 (one 8 weeks and one 11 weeks) and that's what it looked like too.

Looks like you lost your whole plug at once and yes, that's definitely your bloody show. You can call your doctor if you're worried but it's totally normal to lose all of your plug at once too. I'd just keep an eye on things, if you start having bright red bleeding I'd go in.

Don't feel dumb. It's their job to make sure you and baby are okay! Better safe than sorry, ya know?

Just tell them you think you had your bloody show and you passed something really large. Tell them you aren't sure what it is, but you got a picture and ask if you should go in.

but im no doctor and ive only witnessed one placenta in person.

You should probably go in or at the very least call. That doesn't look normal that looks way big. And with your last l&d visit and your history of early deliveries I would play it safe. I think he wants out

That looks like your entire plug at once! holy crap.. I think I'd just go in to be seen. And show them the picture.. I know how it is when the nurse/doctors just kind of blow you off.

I would at the very least call your OB, but I think I would go in.

That looks like labor is quite near! I thought bloody show was supposed to be small too but when mine came it was SO MUCH BLOOD. Really freaked me out but she came that night. Good luck!
