How much clothes did you have before birth?

I have gotten a ton of new clothes AND a ton of hand-me-downs.

I have had to throw out some of the hand-me-downs for being stained or too worn, or they won't fit him..Considering he'll be born in the Winter, etc.

But how much clothes did you have before your baby was born? He has so much....but I feel like I need more! Hahaha.

Waaaaay too many. My daughter never wore half of them!

W my 1st we got tons of hand me downs. Most were able to be used w 2nd. N if this is another girl I'm still set until 5t. If its a boy we have one laundry basket full of boy clothes n from experience that's more than enough. Less NB sizes more 0-3 bc they grow super fast

I had about 10-12 complete outfits in every size all the way up to 9 months. Not including sleepers or extra onesies.

I had a ton, but all different sizes. He doesn't have a lot of newborn because we figured he'd be out of them by now, but 5 weeks later he's still in them...

I swapped clothes for clothes with a girl whose daughter goes to daycare with my son. Our kids are the same age and we are both due within 1 month of each other, me a girl, her a boy...we swapped everything so I have clothes until she is 2 almost! lol not including all her new stuff she got and I bought...

Waaay to many lol. I tried to get my Son to wear most of them, but he grew out of the NB really fast, and was always a size ahread of what he should be. He didnt wear most of them honestly.

My sons clothes ranging from 0-6 months filled 6 dresser drawers...
He wore not even half of them. (he was born not being able to wear newborn clothes so all those just sit around unworn)

They go through a lot of clothes, way more then you think they would. Ds would always manages to pee on his clothes during diaper changes. Ds was born in the summer so he just mostly wore onsies with socks & a cap. I suggest you have lots of socks, mittens & booties & hats. don't take all the tags off the newborn in case you need to exchange them because Depending on his size he might not wear them long or at all. Dd was almost 9 lbs & skipped over newborn clothes

We have 3 large dresser drawers of newborn,, and 3 drawers of 0-3. And a 30 gallon crate of 3-6, 6-9, 12month and up to 3T.
