Who cares about the number?

posted 25th Oct
I DON'T! I used to think that it mattered if I was 120 lbs. But At 133 I look healthier than I did at 120. I am stoked that I am getting toned. And muscle weighs more than fat   I encourage you all to pay attention to results rather than what the scale says!

Its true! I'm super focused on the scale.... But, the most important thing I have to remember, is that I FEEL amazing. I FEEL healthy. I shouldnt fight the scale or the mirror to try to look like anyone else. MY goal is to continue doing what I have to do to feel great. Tons of water, natural foods, exercise, etc. With that... my body will adjust and naturally go to the weight it's supposed to!

Before I got pregnant, I was weighing in at least two-three times a day.... it is pathetic.

I still obsess about the number.
I was 115 pre pregnancy and now.. I'm guessing I'm like 128..
Which for me and my personal standards is a little too much.

a pound is a pound, is a pound....a hundred pounds of bowling balls weighs the same as a hundred pounds of feathers. A pound of muscle does not weigh less than a pound of fat.

Muscle weighs the same as fat (i.e. a pound of feathers weighs the same as a pound of gold) it just takes up less space so you look trimmer! I am the same way though! For my height, 5'2, I should weigh around 120ish, but when I was in the best shape I could only get down to 135. So I still thought I was fat. Looking back now, I am like damn I looked good! What was I thinking?? Society has programed us to depend way too much on the numbers on a scale rather than how we look and feel! Way to go girl! Keep up the good work!!
