Thank God my epi worked! It worked every time for all of my babies, and didnt cause me any kind of lasting effects, no back pain nothing.

Same here. i was so scared it would. but nope.   was like magic during labor.

I've heard of that happening to a few people, how awful! My epi was amazing both times. lol

Yeah it effects everyone differently. I was kind of glad it didn't work on me though because it made it very easy to push. I only pushed for 20 minutes and the pain wasn't that terrible

I kind of think mine wasn't working or if it was they stopped it or lowered the dose, because i felt every single contraction and knew right when to push lol
it wasnt that bad at all, it was actually a relief to push and feel progress.

Yeah one half of me was frozen up to my chest and the other half wasn't frozen at all. My contractions were horrid but pushing was definitely a releif. My one friend who got the epi was in the delivery room for hours and hours cause she didn't know how to push properly because she was so numb

The Epi did that to me with my first I pushed for 2 1/2 hours because I couldnt feel a thing, but the other five I only pushed for no more than 5 minutes with each one of them and had the epi each time.

Due date 29th November but booked in for induction on 27th due to raised waters and BP think I'm in early slow labour at the moment so if my LO doesn't show her face over the weekend then I'm definitely going to be a Mummy next week some time!!  

im due tomorrow nov 24th nothing happening but pressure and soreness in the vag was dialeted tue when i was checked 1-2 cen, 75 % effaced , -1 station hurts to walk

Oh I hear u, it hurts to do antthing. I'm due Sunday in pain all the time, 2cm dialated had my membrane swept walk daily (despite the pain) and still nothing.

had my lil girl november 15th weighin 8lb 11oz (10 days early) labour pains all in the back , gt to hospital and was fully dilated ( was shocked thort they were gunna send me home) had gas n air 1hour 4o in total frm arrivn in hospital to havin her .

Currently in hospital being induced at 39+4 it totally sucks but is totally awesome at the same time!
