I don't have one and I'm probably paranoid but I just don't trust those kind of seats.

LOL I was thinking that too till I read the reviews... They are great and it hold up to 37 lbs. !!

Right but You got it second hand (no judgement, most of our house is either gifted or thrifted) but because it's second hand, you can't know how well the people before took care of it or followed the guidelines. Kwim?

Almost everything in my house is second or third hand. But things with safety standard and guidelines we don't mess around with.

I can't tell the brand of that one. Is it Chicco? If so thats a pretty respected trusted brand so I am sure its designed well....Those kind of seats look scary to me, although I am sure they are fine! I would never buy one because we have a very expensive custom made huge dining room table and I would not want to attach anything to it and risk scratching or otherwise marring it.

Thats the problem with our table too. So does not think it will work our out table. It's the high ones. With the almost barstool type chairs. With a high back chair. It was a very expensive set and he would be mad if it got ruined lol. So we are prob just going to take this to resteraunts and familys houses for holidays.
