Has anyone tryed this?

a friend of mine gave me Evening primrose oil. to take to help me soften my cervics. I will be 34 wks in 3 days. Ive never heard of it. an not sure if I should take it. I go to the doctors tmw an will ask him as well. She said she took it 2 wks before she had her son. an it helped her. Have any of you taken it or have heard about it?

You're 33 weeks, you shouldn't be thinking about softening your cervix.

My sister gives birth at home...and she uses the oil to stretch herself.

Give her a break...she is just planning for the future. Her friend took it two weeks before she have birth.

Never once did she say she was going to take it today.
She's asking if any of you have used it and what your experience was.

And she's asking her doctor tomorrow.

Considering her spelling and sentence structure is lacking, it's not unreasonable for anyone to misread or misinterpret it.

  She didn't say "I'm not planning on taking it until 39 weeks, etc) so how would we know?

Well, I know assumption makes one look like an ass, which is what we have ask done.

She didn't say she would take it now, nor at 38 weeks.

She did however say get friend waited, which I assumed she was taking into consideration as advice.

On top of that she was going to ask her doctor.

Wow Ok ladys now. So I wouldnt take it at 33 wks thats way to early. All I was asking was if anyone has tryed it an what their experince was with it. I would only take it if I was at least 39 or over my due date. an Even then Im not sure if I would even take it. sorry for the making you think other wise or get everyone all fired up.
