update

My girls are one week and 3 days, Yesenia is now 3 lbs and 9oz she had loss two ounces but gained it back. She was under the blue light for jaundice a couple days after she was born but she is doing much better now she is still not feeding on her own she has a very weak suck but I know she will get it soon. Selena loss 3 ounces which brought her down to 3lbs 3ozs her first week but she is now back up to her birth weight 3lbs 6ozs she had to be put under the lights also for jaundice and now is doing well in that department, she was just taking off the oxygen on Sunday and is now breathing well on her own. She is also not feeding own her own yet and is very tired when to comes her feeding I think it will take longer for her to come feed on her own because she is so feisty and when she get mad she makes herself tired from being so feisty lol. Looks like they are going to be here for awhile but like I have said before I know this the best place for them to be until they are strong enough to come home

i just read this, i am so sorry to hear your girls are having to stay in NICU, i know how it feels to know your baby/babies arent coming home with you, i cried when they told me my son wouldn't be discharged with me and would be staying in NICU longer then what i was told. I am glad they are doing well and i will be praying for you and your family.
