Who Is Up For A Crossfit Type Workout 61 Day Challenge?

My husband and I are trying to motivate each other to work out using money as an incentive. But I was thinking it might make it more interesting to have some extra ladies for support!

Here's how it will work: The challenge will begin November 1st and end December 31st. I will post a daily Crossfit-esque type workout everyday. It will be something that you can do at home with little to no equipment (When equipment is required I will offer a substitute to do if you don't have said equipment). You get 1 point per WOD (Workout Of Day) and the people with the most points at the end wins!

My husband and I will be putting $200 in the pot and whoever wins between me and him will win the money. You can do your own bets between you and your SO or you and your friends on here or in real life if you would like but that will be all on your own.

I can keep track of the points all you need to do is post on here when you got the daily workout done and your time if you'd like to be competitive about it! For those who don't know much about Crossfit here is a sample workout: (Most workouts are high intensity and won't last longer than a half hour including warm-up)

Warm-up
400m run or run/jog for 5 minutes

Workout:
For time
100 Jumping Jacks
75 Squats
50 Push Ups
25 Burpees

(I will post how to videos for exercises that you may not know!)

Who is in and wants to do this with me and look super HOTT for New Years?? (And not gain all the extra holiday weight!)

I wish I could.. We do crossfit...but I'm pregnant and on restriction..so that's a no go for me...have fun

but how do you take 5 minutes to run 400 M? or do you mean amrap in that 5 minutes during the workout?

Sounds fun! I will join you! But I have no money to do the money part LOL. I will do this every day after work...and later in the evenings I will do my normal workout. Or maybe I could do it in the mornings? Question, I don't have the option to run..is there something I can do in place of the running?

I'm trying to make it friendly for non- Crossfitters and people who think Crossfit is too hard. So either run 400m OR Run for 5 minutes.

ohhhhh lol..I was like huh? I'm jealous... I had to stop recently and it's hard seeing everyone go and I'm just here... I miss my workouts...

Oh and congrats on the pregnancy! I tried to CF while I was pregnant I just got way too sick! But there are several pregnant ladies at my box and boy do I admire them!!!

Betting is definitely NOT required!! My husband and I just know what motivates us! LOL For people who can't run I will have a substitute for that as well! For example: Run 400m OR do 30 jumping jacks. Will that work for you?

For Time means as fast as you can. So just start and watch the clock and mark it when you get done! The point is to finish whether it takes you 10 minutes or 3 hours! I want to make this doable for everyone!
