Im a cashier at a retail store and I swear constantly at work and in front of customers, my word of choice is and has always been for smurf sakes. and jesus christ.

My boss hears me and everyone else, but my boss also stands at the cash talking about anal sex in front of customers lol so really it does not matter, we all talk this way at work. lol

Me and my kids listen to rap music, eminem and snoop dog lil wayne etc...as well as pop music and other stuff that is full of "swear words" they share the same music as me, their ipods are sinched to my iphone so they get what I get and I dont listen to edited versions of anything lol its only music.

But they really dont say anything other then what the hell goddamit jesus christ and holy crap. lol

I guess that's the difference. I think words mean a lot. In my opinion they're not "just" words and I want them to use more meaningful and polite vocabulary. Plus, I grew up not saying any curse words, and still don't say them very often now.

But to each their own!   Everyone's different.

Oh yes forsure, my kids are respectful tho. at home its like whatever, but they never had issues with saying what others consider not appropriate words at friends houses or at my grandparents house, even tho they swear sometimes too, kids just know sometimes when to be all hush hush lol

By any means my kids dont walk around with a loose mouth lol I am the guilty one of that, I just dont think its a big deal if they did lol
