Parent teacher conferences...

They always surprise me. I am not sure why I worry about my kids getting a bad report. But they in all honesty have been through a lot. Between their dad and I getting divorced and both remarried, both of us moving. Plus them switching schools. I mean it is life but I am sure it hurts them. Now me pregnant and having their half brother very soon. But apparently they are NOT hurting in school. I am glad they have some place as a safe haven. I feel bad no one is perfect but my kids were thrown a loop by my ex. While him and I were seperated he started sleeping with their school conselor who was married too. My oldest knew it was wrong and kept asking me about it. Which yes out of concern for everything I believe in and taught my kids I told their father to stop. Which he blamed it on jealousy. Obviously not. that just breaks EVERYTHING I have taught my children about love and marriage. Anyways that's why they had to change schools because she lied and tried to hide her affair with my ex. Plus some other things I had called her in about to CPS. Anyways there has been a lot my kids have gone through and I am so proud they are doing well. Life sucks and things happen, but I am so glad they are strong and making it. 

Jeez. That is alot.

I know, I walked to crying thinking how bad I feel. But they seem to be strong kids. They still ask me to get back with their dad. It has been 2 years, but they see the pain in their dad's face. He just isn't happy. But for once I am. Which I am mad at him for things he did but I do want him to find someone that really makes him happy. The girl he is with just doesn't seem to be it. Because my kids even hate her. But that isn't my business.

Well she's not their mommy. It's hard as a kid when you don't fully understand why things are the way they are. But it's awesome that they're doing so well.

In honesty my kids never saw my ex and I fight. When I filled for seperation they saw their dad push me down the stairs. But that was later. I know they are seeing him and his new wife fight. She also calls me names. Which for my husband and I we never fight/disagree in front of the kids, and we NEVER name call. It just puts them in a weird spot. But they also complain because she is never there (working) and when she is all she does is yell and sit in her room. My ex takes care of her 3 kids for her. It is an odd situation. I am thinking they need someone to talk to that isn't my ex or I. Because I know they want to tell me but I don't like hearing my kids are being treated bad. So to me they could tell someone safe ANYTHING they want. IDK
