but my hubby and i could not afford our house if i didnt work.... but when it comes down to it, i will only be working when he is off after baby is born....
dont take offense to what he is saying-its just his oppinion and if your dude wants you to stay home you should be fine.... just dont use welfare as a form of income....

I'm sorry but I think he is absolutely right. Buying diapers is not going to be the expense your child will need. TRUST in that one. Your boyfriend's friend isn't telling you you CAN'T be a housewife, he's just telling you that you shouldn't always depend on one income to provide the best for your child.

that's obnoxious...it is up to you and your family (meaning your boyfriend) to decide if you are both going to work...if you can afford it then thatn is great, and his friend is prob. jealous that he ahs to work and you just "get to stay at home and take care of the baby" (which is a full time job in itself!!)

If you cant afford to be a housewife than you cant be one.
