Home schooling

So this is my first week home schooling and I have no idea what took me so long. This is just incredible! My 5 year old aced adding decimals today! And I really am impressed with my 3 year old. He has PDD-NOS and the school he was at was not challenging him at all. He is doing so much! I am so excited   How many of you home school? Any tips?

My kids go to school, but I have done lesson plans with them since 2 yrs old. My 4 yr old reads at a grade 1-2 level math at a grade 1 level and can write any word really and spell off the top of her head more then 35 words.

My 10 yr old struggles tho learning disibilities. But they do math reading writting and we do art and science projects at home, book clubs we go to the library and we al pick a small kids chapter book, (the same one) we read it together outloud 1 chapter each a night so everynight we do 3 chapters. When we are done the book we talk about it and discuss what was going on, if lessons were learned etc.....Just like at school.

But like I said I dont homeschool but in a way I kind of do. lol

I teach DD math and science after she finishes school work. It turns out this learning way works well. DD has always been A students at school. For after-school practice, we has been using beestar. It's teacher recommended. DD is a big fun of the math program.
