help?

i had a c-section with my baby and tht will be 2 weeks ago on friday  but i have been having trouble getting him to sleep by himself in his crib. i had to sleep with him for a week cause i couldnt get up to get him myself, and now tht i can do stuff for myself, i wanna get him sleeping in his crib. any ideas???

Good luck.. a crib is a BIG space to them. Swaddling is my only idea. My son slept with us or in his mamaroo til 2 months old when he grew out of being swaddled.

ETA: at 5 months he still only sleeps in his crib half the night.

My 2 month old still sleeps with me. She loves it, I love it...I can't imagine her being in a crib!

Have you thought about a bassinet by your bed? Not such a huge space for a baby.

It's the 4th trimester. I'd read up on it. it's good information about your baby and you the first three months. Explains why they don't like to sleep alone, ect.

I had LO in a bassinet for the first 2 months and moved her into the crib. I kicked her out of the bassinet because she was getting a little big for it. She took to the crib fine, but she had to be swaddled.

I have my 3 month old in his moses basket until his first feed and then he gets in bed with me
