vag after birth question... tmi?

I was curious and looked at my vag for the first time today after my VBAC. I am 4 weeks. I took a mirror and looked while sitting on the toilet. And it seemed super stretched out. Like way bigger than before. How long does it take to get back to "normal" size. Is it normal for it to still be stretched out?

Mine looked stretched out until about 8 weeks PP. Now it seems pretty back to normal

At least 6 months if not longer.

I was NOT expecting to to look so huge and stretched out

It goes back to normal don't worry ;) give it a few more weeks.

Omg I had the same problem and thought I was doomed to have a grand canyon forever. Okay it wasn't that bad.. but I went back to normal around 12 weeks pp and stopped bleeding at 8.

i a year pp and mine doesnt looks like it did before...but my husband says it feels tighter, so whatever...when i first looked i was horrified to see my scar reached JUST below my anus...

Haha well you had your vaginal birth like you wanted, you just pushed a 9 pound baby out of it, what would you expect?  

I felt "normal" after three months down there.

I am 5 weeks pp tomorrow and looked at mine yesterday. The inside looked pretty much the same as it did before delivery but I noticed the outer lips looked all stretched out and puffy.

I expected that the vagina is an amazing thing, and can be stretched out and return to size >.< I just didn't realize it took so long to go back.

Wow you got to wait awhile! I had stitches and had to look   it was SO swollen

I'm still stretched out much more than I ever was.. My labias are longer and it's just nowhere near as "put together" as before
