Sharp pains lower left pelic region

I am 20 weeks today. I am having sharp, stabbing pains in my lower left pelvic region. It also feels like it is burning. Nothing makes it better but trying to sit up makes it worse. I have not felt any movement from the baby in about 2 or 3 days. There is no sign of blood. Has this happened to anyone else? Do I need to call my doctor? Is there anything I can do to make it stop?

i know with me at around 20 weeks i started having more ligament pains.. but if ur really worried ring ur doctor/midwife.. there is no harm in asking!!

if it upsets/scares/concerns you...its always worth a call to your dr.

To me it totally sounds like some round ligament pain. Its not harmful...its basically just your body stretching out Try supporting yourself at the sides when you do things like get out of bed. If you feel a sneeze coming on, bending over forward before hand can help.

Well that's what I was thinking. But I've been having the round ligament pain for a couple weeks now and this felt totally different. It has gone away now so hopefully it will not come back! Thanks!
