But you have tried to change it, so you aren't that happy. My question was does being fat MAKE you happy? Or are you simply accepting?

  I agree with you. If she was happy being fat... she wouldn't of attempted to lose weight.

Fit=/=thin.
You can be healthy and in shape without being supermodel thin.
This is not Thin and Happy.

But you CAN change it. Those are just excuses. I used to feel the same way and I'd tell myself, "What's the point? You're just a bigger girl and you're never going to change your body type." and that was absolutely NOT true. You would never believe what your body can do and how much it can change.

Exercising made you feel depressed? Or were you depressed because exercising is hard work and you just didn't feel like doing it? I'm thin and I exercise (not to be thin) and it hurts. It hurts bad sometimes but whether you're skinny, fat or in between, everyone should exercise. Even walking up and down a steep hill is exercising.

  Just from cutting out bored binge eating and actually getting off my ass and working at a warehouse full-time.... voila:

It's NOT impossible to lose weight... you just have to want it bad enough. And with some body shapes... you'll never be super model thin. I have wide hips... I'll never be a size 0. Ever. But I'm not striving for that, either. Just make your body healthy, and it'll be beautiful all on it's own.

And I have the perfect example for you. When my DH started losing weight he was always convinced he would still be a "BIG" guy no matter how much weight he lost and that was not at all true. He's down over 120 lbs and his body has COMPLETELY changed. He's nowhere near a "big" guy anymore, so you can certainly change your body type.

Exactly. Exercising depresses me too. I smurfing hate it. I hate everything about working out, but that's because it's hard and that sucks. I'm not depressed whenever the lbs come off and I see changes in my body.

You look great

I will probably never be smaller than a 6 if I tried. I have wide hips, but I'm ok even where I am. I am just losing weight by maintaining a healthy lifestyle that I'm used to now. The weight will deal with itself. I'm in no rush anymore.

Omg, you're so cute.

And I agree. I was a zero before children. Now that my hips have widened, I would never get into a zero again. Not that I care because I was too thin for my taste back then anyways. I'm a happy camper at a size 5.

  I'm the same way. I know I'll never be a 00, but that's not what I'm going for either. Even at 160 lbs I was SUPER fit and I'm only 5'3". I was technically "overweight", but I was in the best shape of my life physically.

You look awesome! Those 12 lbs really made a difference on your body

But I'm the same as you... I don't think I'll ever be smaller than a 6. But my body isn't made to be smaller than that without looking ill.
