anatomy scan

So my doctor mentioned an anatomy scan at,my last appointment but I can't remember if he said my next appointment they'd be doing it. So my question is when do they usually do them? It's been so long I don't remember

Usually around 20 weeks

They normally do it around 20 weeks. In my experience it's almost always a little before that though.

In the uk is usually about 20 weeks.

That's what I thought but he sounded like it will be occurring next week and I'll only be 16 Weeks. . . But I just moved and they do things so differently here like I have to take two sugar tests because of my race being more likely to get the gestational diabetes. . .

Our OB does it between 16-18 weeks. I got mine done at 18 weeks but thats because I ended up having to reschedule the appointment.

I *think* i got my anatomy scan done with my middle baby around that time period. The problem with it being earlier is that it's more likely that they'll have to have you come back to rescan stuff. The first time around, i ended up with 3 U/S because the baby would not cooperate and they couldn't get a good shot of the heart.
