Fat and Happy Customer Service (TRIGGER WARNING)

It has come to my attention that there may exist some people who do not like me or the fat and happy quote or both. Since I post the quote in a protected forum, some people may not feel comfortable expressing their negative feelings in that space. That is why I have created this thread. I love to hear all angles of an argument. I appreciate feedback both positive and negative. It gives me a chance to flex my brain muscle.

Have something to say? Post it here. All comments, suggestions, complaints, and rants are welcome.

Any social, physical, or political issue surrounding the topics of fat, fat acceptance, body positivity, health at every size, or anything else that is body related are welcome for discussion.

You should just make one thread and update it daily. Some people just don't like seeing it on the sidebar every day is my guess. Then your "fans" can all be subscribed for every update.

It makes me feel good about myself and a definite self-esteem booster. ♥

You're prettier than me. And you're also nice. This frustrates me very much because if you are going to be rude enough to flaunt your gorgeousness all over the show, you can at least be a bit of a bitch to make me feel better.

I don't have a complaint but I just wanted to say that I think it's wonderful, and beautiful for every woman and person to love their body regardless of shape or size (so long as they are healthy), and I encourage it!

I agree.

You can even in the OP 'link' to the new F&H posts in that thread. That way anyone new can jump to the quotes you have in the thread so they don't have to scroll through all the comments as well.

I personally love it. I get what you are trying to promote which is acceptance of the body not being fat and unhealthy. I know a lot of people think you are trying to promote being unhealthy and unhealthy habits, but I don't see it that way. You are just trying to get more people to accept their body because most of the time fat is seen as unattractive.We are made to hate our size, and focus on what size we wear vs loving ourselves for who we are.

I don't care. I see a ton of posts that I don't find interesting or agree with. If I don't agree or like it, I usually walk away. Unless its a D&D and I feel like discussing it.

I'm not sure why just seeing it in the sidebar should be overly vexing to people, in and of itself. They don't have to click on it. I like doing a new one every time because new people who are new to bg can discover it, if it is something they are into.... and I love the poll... I try to guess the results. haha

I do have another thread for everyday fat chat, which is just a safe place for people to go and chat about whatever the hell they want to lol. I used to post it in the quote but it attracted haters.

I think you're as uncomfortable with yourself as everyone as is, but instead of doing anything about it you promote it. Because you think that the more fat people who stay fat, the less you have to worry about losing weight.

I've also always wondered what your husband thinks and if he's one of those like "feed during sex" guys.

I think its fine the way it is. It's one post out of hundreds made in a day. Even if it is once a day its no different than a million people asking the same 5 questions every day, which is more annoying imo. No one is forced to read it or click the thread so I think its fine the way it is.

If you're trying to teach body acceptance, regardless of size, why the heck do you have a "fat chat"?
