1st degree tearing up the front??

I had my baby 3 weeks ago. The doctor said I had some 1st degree perineal tearing and I also tore up the front. My stitches are gone now and the perineal tearing is healed up except for a tiny bit of soreness. The tearing up the front is still pretty sore, not to be gross but hurts into my clit area lol. I don't know if I ripped that far up or not but it definitely hurts and seems like it's taking longer to heal. I guess I am worried this will have an effect on my sex life. I'd like to hear info from ladies who have had this happen to them..does it ever go back to normal?

I didn't tear, but it stretched pretty damn far and it burned like crazy for a few weeks, then everything went back to normal.

I had a 3rd degree tearing but it was from my fun hole to my bunghole however, my clit was super, SUPER sore for about 6 weeks. I'm talking, if I sat wrong I cringed.

Did you have a cath?

mine hurt up in the same area from the catheter i had from epidural, it will feel better in a week or so

at 3 weeks pp i was still in pain, every woman is different, if you only had 1st dgree tearing you probably didnt tear all the way up, with that said, give your body more time to heal, in a few weeks it wont hurt like it does now!

i had a 2nd degree tear.tore from my vag all the way to my butthole. 
and my clit did hurt like yours did lol. id have to sit very carefully, because it was extremely sore. the pain went away 6 weeks pp though. everything was back to normal.

Oh thank god hahaha I am so glad this is normal. I don't think I had a catheter lol?? I was so out of it though, I hardly even remembered him telling me about my tearing! Another question, it looks different down there does that go back to normal too??

Honestly, my Dr must have been a plastic surgeon in her second life. She stitched me up so good that you couldn't even tell what happened. I remember being scared to look, so I made my Husband go first   She did a great job!

Lucky lol! I mean it looks pretty normal except for the fact that (this is TMI) my hole looks bigger...at first I thought he didn't stitch me up all the way but now I am thinking it's just really stretched out or something ha ha. Before you could barely tell I even had a hole there! I really hope it goes back to normal, I am terrified of being loose.
