C section/period

hi I had a questions for the mommas.
I had a c section sept30 and ive been bleeding since then (period) is this my period,also is not heavy at all is very light.wondering when am I gonna stop. Ive almost gone threw two boxes of pads 28pck

sounds like normal, post-baby bleeding to me

It isn't a period. You can bleed after birth for 6+ weeks.

It should be lochia, unless you've stopped that already, then it may be a period.

Lochia is the blood, tissue and mucus and, yes, after birth you have it, irregardless of the method of delivery.

You still have the same amount of lochia to get rid of, no matter how you gave birth

Unfortunately yup! I bled for 6 weeks to the day after having my daughter via c-section. I will tell you also...I thought that because I had a c-section and not a vaginal birth sex wouldnt hurt YA I was SOOOO WRONG LOL

I had a c section with my son 2years ago and yeah the sex was out of the question it hurt so bad. But yep its after birth hunn. Yucky nasty but normal.

Well for me the c section felt like it was ripping open every position hurt it felt like they were cutting me open all over again.

I bled for 5 weeks after my c-section. So don't think you have to worry. Good luck.
