advice please. (mayb TMI)

i am 6 weeks pp and still having discharge, which had faded to a brownish colour, but ive just gone to the toilet and there is fresh red blood on my pad... should i be concerned or could it just be a period? i dont want to bother the doctors if its nothing. any advice welcome ty   x

I would say it is nothing to worry about but if it lasts longer than your normal period would do then I'd see a GP

I bled off and on for 8 weeks pp. It went from bright to pink to brown to white to bright red again.

that sounds like whats been happening to me. i lost an excessive amount of blood during labour though, so was a little bit worried when it started being bright red again.

Yea my doctor was not concerned. I was bc I read it was a sign of a problem. Idk. It can mean you are doing to much I guess. But after 8 weeks I did not get a period for 4 more months bc I am bf.

im bf too, and with boys i didnt bleed at all while i was bfing

I supplement too and at 6 months my supply dropped even more. I wish I did not have af now
