MI is super easy to get on. I've never heard of any uninsured preggo not Getting it. You just have CHIP if you are over Income which is like $15 a month.

lol, really? I hear that the wait times for specialists are longer, but I've never heard anything else about our health care being worse, our emergency room wait times are supposedly shorter.

Sometimes u have to wait months here too. That's why my friend is dying. She had to get a board at u of m to review her cancer prognosis and recommend a therapy and she waited over a month. When she was finally able to start she got a uti and by the time she healed enough to start chemo the cancer spread so bad she had no hope. So now she's 22 dying in hospice care because she was waitin for supposedly te best advice from the best board of drs.

current wait times for some of the ER's here the on near me is 19 minutes.

Yeah SO doesn't have insurance and hasn't for years. He could die anyday from anything cause we can't afford for him to go to the hospital or get Screened for any issues. I'd definitely consider going to Canada if it meant life or death. It's only a few hrs away.

I hear that Windsor hospitals are filled with Americans, but they don't check for health cards (what we use to prove we're Canadian) because they're so desperate.
