inducing

So today I went to the drs and we did all the regular stuff. well I've also had a pretty bad cold the last week or so and noticed her not moving as much.   Dr wants to be on the safe side and go ahead and take her   can't wait to meet my little girl  !!!!

Has he done an U/S or any other kind of testing to determine how baby's doing? He's just inducing you early because you have a bad cold?

her last thread she said she only had a week and 4 days left, and that was 4 days ag. so im assuming 39 weeks? lol 31 would be like WTF lol

I am sure her licensed, trained doctor wouldn't induce someone at 31 weeks for no medical reason.

That's why I asked what the reason was.

But of course, medical professionals inducing and performing c-sections for no good reason is completely unheard of.

I think that is old, one of her older posts from few days ago said she had a week and 4 days left...

Your post didn't say so I didn't even have any idea how far along you supposedly were. I figured towards the end. If it has to do with her HR, that makes more sense.   I just know sometimes doctors push inductions when it's not really medically necessary.

If it was your business, I'm sure she would have gone into more detail.
At 31 weeks? Pretty much. The baby is not ever fully developed and no DECENT, intelligent doctor is going to risk his entire career for someone who just wants to be induced at 31 weeks.

Um, pretty sure when you post something on a public forum, that makes it everyone's business. I was asking an innocent question so there's really no reason to jump down my throat about it. And as she said, she's not 31 weeks, nor did I think she was.
